News: upcoming performances and that wait list

We have a few performances planned to which everyone is invited: Thursday May 25 at the Green Point Community Centre for the Biggest Morning Tea.  Performance starts at 11 am for 45 minutes or so.

Second performance is on Sunday June 11 in the auditorium at Peninsula Village in Umina at 2 pm.  Free to all.

Third performance is Wednesday July 26 at the Coast Connect Day.  Time to be announced but should be around lunch time so that our working singers can hare on over for a short lunch time sing.

Our special concert is on Sunday October 22 at the Woy Woy St John the Baptist Church some time in the afternoon, probably 3 pm.  We have some lush new songs which we are really looking forward to singing in this beautiful space.

We are currently planning a charity concert for the end of Nov/beginning of Dec.  Details will be given as soon as we know time and place.

Our Tuesday night choir is chock-a-block full and we can’t take a single more singer – even a tenor!   The wait list for Tuesday night has also closed.  There are limited spaces available on Thursday mornings.   Details are in the FAQ section of this website.

Sizzling start to singing!

Welcome back singers!   Tomorrow, Tuesday January 31 is our first day back and what a scorcher of a day is in store for us.   The air conditioners will be humming away on their usual note of B flat.  Or they the fans?  Anyway, you won’t cook.

I’m looking so forward to another year of unusual polyphonic music from Latvia, Zimbabwe, Macedonia, Georgia and more that will be new to most of you.
